Trillium in the Community
Trillium staff live, work and serve right here in our local communities. Every week we’re in your neighborhood, establishing partnerships with community-based organizations to advance health equity, facilitate training and educational opportunities, and participate in local events and health fairs.
February Highlights
- Trillium staff hosted tables at three health fairs: Beaverton Resource Center, Project Homeless Connect, and Reedsport Collective - Coastal Douglas County Baby Fair. We engaged with attendees and shared information about Trillium’s resources that support whole health.
- Trillium’s Traditional Health Worker Liaisons facilitated three “Trillium 101: Access to Care” workshops with community partners, including one workshop facilitated in Spanish. These interactive sessions share information about our programs and services and explore how we can collaborate with community-based organizations and providers to improve the health of our members and local communities.
- Trillium, in collaboration with the PacificSource Tribal Liaison, provided a training session to the South Lane School District to help educators and staff better support Native American youth and families. Topics explored included historical and intergenerational trauma, tools and strategies for culturally responsive interactions, best practices for family engagement, and more.
