Diabetic Pharmacy Preferred Drug List Changes

Change in Preferred Blood Glucose Monitors and Tests Strips
Effective April 1, 2022, Trillium Community Health Plan will prefer OneTouch meters and test strips. Truvidia test strips (Relion True Metrix, True Metrix and TrueTrack) will be removed from the preferred drug list effective April 15, 2022. Members who utilize Truvidia test strips before the removal will be able to continue to fill these strips until October 1, 2022. In preparation for this change, please order OneTouch meters and OneTouch Verio test strips for your members starting April 1, 2022.
Members can get a OneTouch Verio Reflect® or OneTouch Verio Flex® meter now at no charge by:

Authorized Generic Insulins Preferred
Effective April 1, 2022, brand HumaLOG 75/25 pens and vials and brand NovoLOG Mix 70/30 pens and vials are no longer preferred by Trillium Community Health Plan as authorized generics are now available. Current utilizing members may continue to receive the brand formulations until July 1, 2022. New prescriptions are not required for members to fill the preferred generic products.
