Trillium Partners with Local Organizations to Open The Commons on MLK
Date: 02/18/21
Trillium is committed to investing in local projects that reduce homelessness and improve the health of our community. That’s why we’re honored to partner with Homes for Good, Lane County, and many other organizations on The Commons at MLK. This new 51-unit complex provides stable housing and support services for our most vulnerable community members.
The number of Lane County residents without safe, stable housing continues to grow. The Commons on MLK provides housing stability for FUSE (Frequent Users Systems Engagement) participants, veterans, and other community members in need of support.
As a FUSE partner, Trillium works with Lane County and ShelterCare to help break the cycle of housing instability among individuals with complex behavioral health challenges. On average, FUSE participants have been without housing for seven years during their current episode of homeless.
At Trillium, we understand that access to safe housing is essential to good health. We’re excited about the impact The Commons on MLK will have on our community.
