OHA Listening Sessions: Health-Related Social Needs Benefits
OHA Listening Sessions: Health-Related Social Needs Benefits
Join the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) for a discussion about the new benefits for Health-Related Social Needs.
OHA is partnering with the Metropolitan Group on listening sessions about HRSN benefits. There is a $210 stipend offered for your participation.
Are you a provider, case manager, or volunteer who helps people access health and social services? Are many of your clients Oregon Health Plan (OHP) members? If so, we invite you to join a discussion group to test materials regarding new OHP benefits for services to address the health-related social needs (HRSN) of OHP members whose health is affected by poverty, homelessness, and climate change. OHP members who meet certain criteria will be able to get new benefits through Medicaid like:
- air conditioners (started on March 2024)
- support with rent and utilities (begins on November 2024), and
- nutrition assistance (starting on January 2025).
